These Terms govern your use of Eka Prompt ("the Application").

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Eka Prompt, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, discontinue use of the Application.

2. License

Eka Prompt is provided under an open‑source license. Users may:

  • Use the application for personal or professional work
  • Modify source code
  • Contribute improvements

Users may not:

  • Misrepresent authorship of the software
  • Reuse the Eka Prompt brand name for derivative products without permission

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Safeguarding your local data
  • Managing confidential information typed into prompts
  • Reviewing policies of external AI providers
  • Ensuring that usage complies with local regulations and organizational policies

Eka Prompt does not validate user prompt content or output from AI services.

4. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of:

  • Prompts
  • Output received from AI providers
  • Templates and workspaces

Eka Prompt claims no rights over your prompt content.

5. Integrations with External AI Services

When external integrations are used:

  • Prompt content may be sent to that provider
  • Third‑party pricing and privacy terms apply
  • Eka Prompt does not control or store remote processing

6. Disclaimer

Eka Prompt is provided "as‑is" without warranties of any kind. The Application does not guarantee:

  • The correctness of AI responses
  • Availability of external providers
  • Suitability for a particular purpose

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eka Prompt and contributors are not liable for damages caused by:

  • Data loss
  • Incorrect AI output
  • Unauthorized API key usage by third parties
  • Misuse of prompt content

8. Termination

You may stop using Eka Prompt at any time. We may restrict access to future updates if these Terms are violated.

Uninstalling the Application removes all local data.

9. Governing Law

Terms are governed by international open‑source software norms. Specific disputes are subject to local jurisdiction.

10. Changes

Terms may be updated as the project evolves. Continued use signifies acceptance of updated Terms.
